Who should attend?

The session is suitable for all staff groups and levels, both academic and those in administrative and support roles. We will meet with you to discuss your requirements and adapt the material if you have a particular staff group in mind.
What will I learn?

The aim of this session is to give an overview of what neurodiversity is and what neurodivergence means for individuals in educational settings. We will over:

Neuro- inclusion in the classroom

Who should attend?

This session is suitable for all staff working in educational settings, including teachers, lecturers, classroom assistants, learning support staff, SENCOs, pastoral staff, and school leaders. It is also appropriate for those involved in curriculum design or student welfare. We can meet with you beforehand to discuss your specific requirements and tailor the material for particular staff groups or educational contexts (e.g. primary, secondary, or further education).

What will I learn?

The aim of this session is to equip education staff with practical tools and understanding to create neuro-inclusive learning environments where all learners can thrive.

Participants will:

• Develop an understanding of neurodiversity, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s syndrome, and other neurological differences.
• Explore how neurodivergent students experience the classroom environment, including sensory, social, and communication factors.
• Learn strategies for inclusive teaching and classroom management that support engagement and reduce barriers to learning.
• Gain insights into universal design for learning (UDL) principles and how to embed them into everyday teaching practice.
• Discuss approaches to reasonable adjustments and how to foster a positive, strengths-based culture around neurodiversity.
• Reflect on case studies and real-life scenarios to apply learning to your own educational context

This session is designed for anyone in the workplace who wants to understand how to better support and collaborate with neurodivergent colleagues. The aim of this session is to deepen participants’ understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace and equip them with the awareness and tools needed to create inclusive, respectful, and productive environments for all.
